Journalist found dead in Srinagar

A Kashmiri Pandit journalist was found dead in Srinagar on Wednesday morning under mysterious circumstances.

Police said 45-year old Ashok Razdan, correspondent of the prominent Hindi daily 'Amar Ujala' was found dead in a room in his rented house in high security Indira Nagar locality in uptown Srinagar on Wednesday morning.

Senior police officers rushed to the spot immediately and the body was shifted to hospital for autopsy. The police has registered a case and begun an investigation.

The police has detained Razdan's domestic servant and two other persons living in the same house for questioning.
