"A team of home ministry officials is visiting the state today and there is a possibility that I may also go there tomorrow," he said, adding, "I have already spoken to the state governor."
National Conference president and Lok Sabha member Omar Abdullah said the massacre should be an "eye-opener" for the J&K government to shelve its "ill-conceived" plan of bringing the Pandits back to the valley.
After meeting Defence Minister
"The state government plans to rehabilitate them [Pandits] in Mattan and Khirbhawani places thus leaving them an easy prey for the militants.
"Our government could have also brought them back. But we have to see whether we are in a position to provide them with cent per cent security or not," he said.
