Two Hizbul Mujaheedin terrorists killed in south Kashmir

Two terrorists of the Hizbul Mujaheedin were gunned down by security forces in south Kashmir's Pulwama district near Srinagar late on Saturday.

Police said troops of 44 Rashtriya Rifles and the special operations group of the police carried out an operation against the terrorists hiding in Narpora village, following specific information about their presence inside a house there. "When they were challenged
to surrender, they opened fire at the troops. The fire was returned, and in the ensuing gunfight that continued till late in the night, two HM terrorists identified as Aiyaz Ahmad Shah alias Janbaz and Bajeer Kalas were killed," a senior police officer said.

Police sources said the house in which they were hiding was completely destroyed.and  arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain terrorists.
