The special Central Bureau of Investigation court at Hyderabad on Friday granted bail to Vijay Sai Reddy, a close aide of Jagan Mohan Reddy. The special CBI court which heard the bail plea filed by Vijay Sai Reddy granted him conditional bail.

Vijay Sai is considered to be the closest aide of Jagan Reddy. He is also the chief auditor of all the companies owned by Jagan Reddy. In addition to this, he was also the vice president of Jagathi publications owned by Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The bail to Vijay Sai comes as a major relief to the Jagan camp. His arrest was said to have been a major breakthrough in the case and it was said that it was done to tighten the noose around Jagan Reddy.

Vijay Sai will, however, be released only on Saturday as the order copy has to be first taken to the jail that he is lodged in.
