Combined Aptitude Test 2004 for MBBS/BDS/BE/BArch/MCA/MBA

Applications are invites from eligible candidates for the Combined Aptitude Test 2004 assistance for admissions to first year MBBS/BDS/BE/BArch/MCA/MBA courses.

Seats are available in Maharashtra, for the academic year 2004-2005 against management quota.

CAT 2004 will be conducted on March 14, 2004.

Eligibility:

MBBS/BDS: 10+2/PUC or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in PCB (40% for SC/ST candidates). Age not less than 17 years on or before December 31, 2004.

BE/BArch: 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in PCM (40% for SC/ST candidates).

MCA: Graduates with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate with mathematics as one of the compulsory subject.

MBA: Graduates with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate.

Candidates appearing for the final year of the qualifying examination may also apply. 

Test Centres: Agra, Ajmer, Almora, Amritsar, Bangalore, Bhatinda, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Bokaro, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Goa, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Hisar, Indore, Imphal, Jabalpur, Jalandhar, Jammu, Jhansi, Jodhpur, Kalpa, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nainital, Patna, Pune, Ranchi, Raipur, Shimla, Shillong, Srinagar, Silchar, Surat, Udaipur, Vadodara, and Varanasi. 

Application brochure and forms can be obtained by sending two self-addressed slips of 6 cm x 10 cm clearly stating name of the candidate, postal address, PIN code and phone number with STD code along with a demand draft for Rs 670 drawn in favour of Co-ordinator, Combined Aptitude Test, payable at Mumbai to the,
Co-ordinator, CAT-2004, Francis, 1st Rd Tank, Orlem, Mumbai 400064.

Information brochure and application form for CAT can be obtained only through post.

CAT is one of the basic for assistance admissions to management share seats in Maharashtra. It is not for government quota or in lieu of CET.

Important Dates:

Last date for request for application form: December 24, 2003.

Last date for receipt of completed forms: January 5, 2004.

Date of examination: March 14, 2004.

 

 PG Management for Working Executives

The Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Mumbai, invites applications for admission to its Postgraduate Program in Management Studies

Eligibility: Graduates from a recognized university with three to four years work experience.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will have to appear for a written test and interview.
