Iraq: Suicide bombing kills 40

At least 40 people were killed and 20 injured on Monday when a suicide bomber blew himself up at an army recruitment centre in northwest Iraq, according to interior ministry sources.

The

sources said the explosion occurred at the Iraq army centre, Tamarat, near the town of Tal Afar, close to Mosul city.

In November, a suicide attack on a police recruitment centre in Ramadi left 70 dead.
