Indigo flight makes emergency landing after bird hit

Minutes after take-off, a Delhi-bound Indigo flight with a Union minister on board made an emergency landing at the Harni airport in Vadodara on Wednesday after suffering a bird hit. All the passengers, including Union Minister of State for Railways Bharatsinh Solanki, as well as the crew members on board are safe, airport sources said.

Talking to PTI, Rakesh R, personal assistant to Solanki said the Vadodara-Delhi flight-6E 482 landed at the Harni civil airport around 1030 hours after the pilot decided to make an emergency landing after the bird hit.
