Condemning the terror attack on Karachi International Airport, India on Monday said the strike underlines the magnitude of danger posed by terrorism, which must be fought urgently and comprehensively, without making any exception.

In a statement, External Affairs Ministry said, "The attack yesterday on Karachi International Airport by 10 suicide bombers must be condemned in the strongest possible terms. The attack underlines the magnitude of danger that is posed by terrorism."

The attack, which began just before midnight on Pakistan's biggest airport Jinnah International, ended this afternoon after a 13-hour gun battle which left 28 people dead, including all the 10 terrorists.

The MEA said, "If left unchecked, terrorism will continue to hinder efforts to promote national economic development, overcome poverty and provide people better quality of lives.

"There can be no justification whatsoever for any act of terrorism. This scourge must be fought urgently and comprehensively, without making any exception."
