Several events have been organised across Mumbai to mark the fourth anniversary of the horrific 26/11 terror attack.
Here are the details of some of those events:
Bombay Hospital and Medical Research Centre and the National Counter Terrorism Trauma Care in association with the Indian Medical Association are organising a Symposium on Role of Public in Disaster Management.
The event will be held at the Birla Matoshree Sabagraha, ground floor, Bombay Hospital on November 24, 2 pm
The chief guest of the event will be Justice J P Devadhar of the Bombay high court
Guests of Honour will be Bharatiya Janata Party's Mumbai unit president Raj Purohit, Secretary of the Finance Department in Maharashtra government Sudhir Shrivastava, Padma Shri Medical Council of India Director Dr Ashok Gupta and Secretary General of the Indian Medical Association Dr D D Rai.
The Global Peace Initiative is organising a peace-a-thonĀ from Churchgate Station, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Oberoi Hotel to Gateway of India on November 25 at 8.30 am.
A programme on the Message of Peace will be held at the Gateway at 9 am.
The Shillong Chamber Choir and visually impaired children will also participate in the programme.
Minister of State for Human Resource Deveopment Shashi Tharoor will be the chief guest.
An Oath of Peace will be taken at 10 am.
The Global Peace Initiative is organising a panel discussion at the Welingkar Institute in Matunga at 4 pm on November 26 on Be the change you want to see.
The panelists will be Sumit Malik, Shailesh Haribhakti, D Sivanandam, Sania Mirza and Niranjan Hiranandani.
The concluding remarks will be made by the Speaker of Iceland's Parliament Asta Johannesdottir.
The chief guest of the event will be Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chauhan
Kia Sherr, who lost her husband and daughter in the 26/11 attack, will also participate in the event.
