With early trends indicating that the Bharatiya Janata Party was leading in Gujarat, the BJP on said it is a vote for corruption-free good governance and showed that the people are rejecting Congress.

BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said early trends indicate that the BJP is returning to power in Gujarat.

"It is a vote for corruption-free good governance and it showed that the people are rejecting Congress," he said.
