Fear of kidnapping, murder haunts Bihar

Fear of kidnappings has returned to haunt people of Bihar after the bodies of a boy and man, who were abducted, were found near Patna on Friday.

Only two days ago, the skeleton of a businessman, who was abducted in June, was found by police in Begusarai district.

A day after Aditya Kumar, 16, a Class 9 student of Gayan Nietan School in Patna, was abducted when he was on his way to attend tuition classes, his body was found in a well near a village in Masaurih about 30 km from Patna.

Only two days ago the skeleton of a businessman abducted in June was found by police in Begusarai district.

Aditya Kumar was kidnapped on Thursday evening from Tilaknagar locality under Rupaspur police station in Patna.

The boy's family received a call late Thursday night from the kidnappers asking a ransom of Rs 75 lakh for his release. They threatened the family that delay in payment would cost the boy's life. Aditya father Sailesh Kumar is a district agriculture officer.

Police have reportedly detained six youngsters for interrogation into the abduction and murder.

In Nawada, the body of an abducted man was found by the police. He was abducted a few days ago.
