The Delhi police have found fault with 11 supporters of Ramdev along with six policemen for the last year's violence at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi during the protest against black money.

Sources in the Delhi police said they have zeroed in on 11 Ramdev supporters who indulged in violence during police action against the yoga guru on June four last year in Ramlila Maidan.

"Six policemen and 11 supporters have been named in the chargesheet. If more names come up, we will file a supplementary charge sheet," a senior police official said on Monday.

The police action came after an investigation following the Supreme Court on February 23 ordering prosecution of police personnel involved in the mid-night crack down. The apex court also directed the police to investigate whether Ramdev supporters indulged in violence.

Sub-Inspector Sushil Kumar, Head Constable Vijender and constables Ravi, Dinesh, Tejinder and Krishan -- named in the chargesheet -- have been indicted for endangering life and personal safety of others.

The six policemen allegedly lathicharged the supporters of Ramdev when the protesters were being evicted from the Ramlila Maidan. "There were no formal orders for a lathicharge," the official claimed.
