A Dubai court has sentenced an Indian to life imprisonment for murdering his colleague.
The 24-year-old Indian, identified only as P.S., was found guilty of premeditated murder after he allegedly smashed a colleague's head twice with a rock.
The Dubai Court of Appeal upheld the verdict of a lower court and sentenced him to 25 years in jail.
The lawyer of the accused in an earlier hearing had denied the charge of premeditated murdered. He said his client was "too drunk" to know what he was doing.
