Two Indians are among the 12 most dangerous criminals wanted by the United Arab Emirates police, according to Dubai police sources.

According to a Dubai police official, international alerts have been issued for the wanted criminals in both countries and the Dubai police were working in close tandem with Indian authorities to nab the fugitives.

Included in the list of 361 fugitives is Ayoub Memon for having planned the Mumbai bomb blasts in 1993 and Shaikh Shakeel for smuggling of firearms in 1993.

Topping the Dubai police list are Madhav Bijubhai Patel wanted for a case relating to deception and absconding with 371.5 million dirhams, according to a Gulf News report.

Rajendra Sadashiv Nikalji, alias Chhota Rajan, involved in a murder case, is wanted internationally on charges of terrorism, bomb blasts and murder, in Mumbai and elsewhere in India.
