Dom's Take: Is India facing a second wave?

As countries around the world are grappling with the second and third wave of COVID-19, the total infection numbers in India surged to 1,10,30,176 with Tuesday recording 13,742 cases.

The death toll now stands at 156,567 as per the official figures released by the government.

Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh have recorded an 'upsurge' in daily new cases of COVID-19 as per the Union health ministry.
