Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that the National Democratic Alliance government's commitment to fight corruption has sent 'shivers down the spines of many who have come on one platform'.

Addressing a public rally in Cuttack at the Bali Yatra ground on the fourth anniversary of his government, he said that it is moving on the correct path and the people have put their seal of approval on it.

The Bharatiya Janata Party is in power in 20 states of the country which shows that people have endorsed NDA's performance in the last four years, he said.

"Three thousand raids were conducted by various agencies and undeclared income to the tune of Rs 73,000 crore was unearthed. Tough rules against black money have sent shivers down the spines of many who have come on one platform," Modi said in an oblique reference to the opposition parties who are grouping against the NDA.

On the four year-rule of the NDA government, he said people now believe that the country can change.

The country is moving towards susashan (good governance) from kusashan (bad governance) and towards jandhan (public money) from kaladhan (black money).

"The people can now see that the NDA government is working with the motto 'sabka sath, sabka vikas'," he said.

Noting that the NDA government is not afraid of taking tough decisions, Modi said that it is not a government of confusion.

"It is a government of commitment and it has the strength to go for surgical strike", he said.

Attacking the Congress, he said, "It has always bothered about power."

Earlier in theday, Modi listed its achievements, saying that over the last four years, development had become a 'vibrant mass movement'.

'On this day in 2014, we began our journey of working towards India's transformation,' he wrote on Twitter.

'Over the last four years, development had become a vibrant mass movement, with every citizen feeling involved in India's growth trajectory. 125 crore Indians are taking India to great heights,' he said.

With the hashtag 'saaf niyat, sahi vikas', Modi also posted a series of charts, graphics and video to underline the achievements of his government.

'I bow to my fellow citizens for their unwavering faith in our government. This support and affection is the biggest source of motivation and strength for the entire government,' he tweeted.

The prime minister stressed that his government would continue to serve the people 'with the same vigour and dedication'.

'For us, it is always India First,' he wrote.

Modi said with complete integrity and the best intent, his government had taken 'futuristic and people-friendly decisions' that were laying the foundations of a new India.

PM asks people to rate his government

Modi has also launched a survey on his app, asking people to rate the performance of the BJP-led dispensation at the Centre and MPs and MLAs in their constituencies.

'It is your voice that counts! Tell me what you feel about the working of the central government, its initiatives and the development work in your constituency. Take part in this survey on the NaMo app,' Modi tweeted.

Giving details, official sources said the survey has also asked the people to list three most-popular BJP leaders in their states and constituencies, and rate them on the basis of availability, honesty, humility and popularity.

The survey on the app enables the people to rate the performance of the central government and its flagship schemes, the sources said.

This is being done to gauge the people's views about the government, respective states and constituencies, they said.

The survey gives a chance to the people to rate the work of their MPs and MLAs while also asking them to list their prime considerations when they vote, the sources said, adding that the participants can also rate the condition of various amenities and infrastructure in their constituency.

From seeking to know what the people think of the flagship programmes of the central government to trying to understand whether they perceive a change in culture of governance, the survey covers a whole spectrum of questions, they said.

The survey assumes significance as the BJP prepares for the Lok Sabha polls, which are due in less than a year.

The Narendra Modi App has been a connectivity platform of choice for the prime minister who has often interacted with the masses as well as his party's functionaries through it, the sources said.

They noted that millions of people had participated in a survey hosted on the app in the wake of demonetisation, which was carried out in November 2016.
