The caricature has been sketched by MNS chief Raj Thackeray, according to news reports

After ally Shiv Sena hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party over its humiliating defeat in New Delhi, it’s now the turn of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena to take a potshot.

MNS boss Raj Thackeray, a political cartoonist like his uncle BalThackeray, hit out at the BJP with a caricature depicting how Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party brought down the Narendra Modi-Amit Shah duo.

The cartoon shows Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah as twin towers under attack by AAP chief Kejriwal. Also, Barack Obama is seen watching the attack on television referring to reports in the media suggesting that Modi used the US president to boost the party’s campaign for Delhi.

The cartoon comes a day after Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray targeted the BJP and termed the AAP win a tsunami.

"This is a great day for democracy. It was not just a wave. It was a tsunami which swept Delhi," said Uddhav taking a jibe at the much-talked about ‘Modi wave’ after last May’s general elections.

In an editorial in its mouthpiece 'Saamana', the Shiv Sena said, “The BJP, which won a resounding majority in the Lok Sabha elections has been turned into 'dirt' by the 'broom-wielding' Aam Aadmi Party. BJP leaders do not even need fingers to count the number of seats they won. Putting the blame of defeat on Kiran Bedi isn't right."

"Delhi has embraced 'Paanch Saal, Kejriwal'. The people of Maharashtra must learn from this. They should ponder and move ahead in that direction, that is the outcome of Delhi," the Sena editorial added.

The AAP decimated the BJP by winning 67 out of 70 seats in Delhi. The BJP bagged only, while the Congress scored a duck.
