A day after the Centre banned the Communist Party of India-Maoist, the Kokata police have arrested the outfit's spokesperson Gour Chakraborty from a regional television channel -- where he reportedly went for an interview -- on the Park Street in central Kolkata.
According to sources, Chakraborty will be produced in court on Wednesday in connection with a murder case in West Midnapore.
In an interview to rediff.com last week, he said his outfit wanted to kill the West Bengal Chief Minister.
