Girls once again performed better in the Class XII examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, the results for which were declared on Friday.
The girls scored 80.33 as pass percentage while the boys 68.22.
The total pass percentage was put at 73.59.
The overall pass percentage in Chennai was 88.18, which was the highest amongst all centres.
