Bharatiya Janata Party chief Amit Shah’s 40-minute elevator ordeal is truly making waves in political circles, and on social media.
While one can understand Shah’s agony over being trapped inside a lift of the state guest house in Patna for around 40 minutes, Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Yadav, ever ready with a quip for all occasions, was quick to lampoon the BJP leader, saying: “Itna mota aadmi ko lift mein ghusna hi nahi chahiye, Bihar ka lift chhota chhota hai (A fat man like him should not enter a lift; lifts in Bihar are very small).”
While the BJP and the Nitish Kumar-led government trade words over who or what caused the elevator to break down, what we would like to know, dear reader, is your take on it.
So imagine you were stuck in the lift along with Amit Shah, the second most powerful man in the BJP and the man with the Midas touch when it comes to fighting elections. What would you tell him?
