Ministers continue to make insensitive and appalling remark.

Even as journalist Akshay Singh’s family is coping up with the news of his death, Madhya Pradesh Cabinet minister Kailash Vijayvargiya left no stone unturned to rub on their wounds.

The minister took insensitive to an entirely new level when Kailash Vijayvargiya said, “Forget that journalist who died. Is he more important than I am?”

However, the minister who faced a barrage of criticism for his statement later backtracked, claiming that it was a joke he had cracked and it was later taken out of the context.

“My statement has been twisted; I was joking with some other journalist. It was not about late Akshay Singh. I did not say that about late Akshay Singh, I strongly condemn this,” he said.

Singh passed away in Jhabua in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday under mysterious circumstances.

Under attack after over 40 deaths in the multi-crore scam, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has assured a fair probe into the sudden death of Akshay Singh.

While expressing grief over the jounalist’s death, Chouhan has already agreed to demands of late Akshay’s sister to send the reporter’s viscera samples to All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi for examination. But it seems that the MP CM's colleague is unfazed with the unfortunate demise of the journalist investigation the mysterious Vyapam scam.

The Vyapam scam has become a major political controversy with numerous witnesses and accused dying under mysterious circumstances.
