Police said that the Improvised Explosive Device was planted earlier by suspected militants and then blasted by using remote control.
All the injured were rushed to Thoubal district hospital. The area has been cordoned off by the police. Police is combing the area to search for other IEDs by using metal detectors.
Additional forces have been deployed. It was not immediately known which group was responsible for the blast.
