Bihar student kills self after failing in exam

A 21-year-old student committed suicide by hanging herself in Patna after failing in one subject, police sources said on Tuesday.

The police have recovered the body of Saloni Kumari from the Adarsh Girls' Hostel on Boring Canal Road under Buddha Colony police station.

She was doing BCA from the Indira Gandhi National Open University in Patna.

Police In-Charge Gaurishankar Singh said the preliminary investigation indicated that she committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling.

"She was upset after her exam results wereout," the police was told by inmates of hostel.

Saloni Kumari was the daughter of a bussinessman Harihar Prasad of Sarkari Bazaar in Chhapra district.
