PM assures Laloo of full co-operation

Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Thursday assured Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Laloo Prasad Yadav of sending more central forces to Assam to check the ongoing violence

against Biharis.

After a telephone conversation with Vajpayee, Yadav told PTI that he had expressed shock over the killing of Biharis living in Assam. He told the prime minister that the Centre and Assam government should protect Biharis.
