The Bangalore police, which busted a terror module that was planning to carry out a series of assassinations, on Monday arrested a cyber cafe owner by the name Omar.

The 24-year-old cyber cafe owner was arrested after investigations revealed his name in the plot.

The police say that Omar was running the cyber cafe in the JC Nagar area in Bangalore and had allegedly facilitated the communication for the plot in which 18 youngsters including a journalist, scientist and doctor were targeting an editor, columnist and a Hindu activist.

It is alleged that during the planning stages, the youth used the cyber cafe to pass on information to each other. The police say that Omar was aware of what was happening and hence has been made a suspect in the case. Further questioning is on.
