The police on Friday picked up four men from Hyderabad in connection with the terror module that was recently busted in Bangalore.

One of them is Obaid Ur Rehmanan, a BCom student at the Anwar Uloom College and a resident of Baba Nagar in the Old City.

These four men will be questioned along with the 11 other suspects detained at Bangalore. The police suspect that the youth from the two cities were in touch with each other and they had planned similar assassination plots in Hyderabad as well.

They reported to Akram Pasha, a friend of Shahid Bilal. Pasha allegedly set up this gang to carry out assassinations of 'anti Islamic' targets.

The police will now question these men together to find out more about their nexus and the entire plot. Meanwhile the police are also trying to ascertain whether the group had also planned to target the Bangalore Metro.
