Army Chief N C Vij on Thursday took over as Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff Committee.
Gen Vij succeeds Air Chief Marshal S Krishnaswamy,
who retires on Friday.
Naval Chief Admiral Arun Prakash will take over as the Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff Committee when Vij retires on
January 31.
