Vijay Sai Reddy, auditor for the YSR family and accused No 2 in YSR Congress party leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy's disproportionate asset case, will have to go back to Chanchalguda Central Jail of Hyderabad, from where he was released on bail only a week ago.

The Andhra Pradesh high court on Friday cancelled Vijay's bail, granted by the Central Bureau of Investigation special court on April 13 on the grounds that the CBI had not arrested any other accused in the case and was keeping only him in jail.

Disagreeing with the reasons given by the CBI court for releasing him on bail, the HC asked the CBI court to hear the bail petition afresh. The high court directed Vijay to surrender before the court and file a fresh bail petition.

The CBI had challenged the lower court's bail orders in the HC, arguing that Vijay will try to tamper with the evidence and influence the witnesses.

The CBI also petitioned the high court for Vijay's custody to question him. The hearing of petition was posted to May 2.

Vijay's counsel Sushil Kumar informed the court that his counsel will surrender on Monday. Vijay is one of the 13 accused named by the CBI.

The CBI has charged them with corruption and cheating, apart from other offences. The has claimed that Vijay played a vital role in bringing the black money in to Jagan's companies as investments.

Meanwhile,Vijay's activities since his release has already sparked off a controversy. Apart from meeting Jagan, in whose Jagati Publications he holds the position of vice president, Vijay also visited the hotel where union minister and senior Congress leader Vylar Ravi and the Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar were staying.

The main opposition, the Telugu Desam Party has raised serious questions and doubts about Vijay's visit to the hotel and asked whether he was trying to reach a compromise with these leaders.

Senior TDP leaders Gali Muddu Krishnamma Naidu and B Gopala Krishna Reddy told reporters that it was also necessary for Pawar and Ravi to explain why Vijay had come to meet them.

"It is a strange policy of the Congress that while it was condemning Jagan as a thief, it was continuing to praise YS Rajasekhar Reddy as a noble leader when the fact is that Jagan's present wealth was what YSR looted form the state," they said.
