US President Barack Obama will begin his ‘historic’ three-day trip to India for the Republic Day celebrations on Saturday.
The US president will be in the country on Sunday and continue his trip till Tuesday, which will also include a visit to the beautiful Taj Mahal in Agra.
The president will be joined in India by multiple members of his cabinet, influential business leaders and a host of US lawmakers, including Nancy Pelosi, the minority leader of the US House of Representatives during the trip.
Besides the Republic Day parade, Obama will also be attending bilateral meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, an interaction with CEOs and influential business leaders.
He will also visit Rajghat and pay a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi after his arrival.
