Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on Monday said problems arising out of dissident activities that recently gripped his government are over and the focus now is on relief works in flood-hit areas.

"All the problems have now blown over and I am happy now," Yeddyurappa said.

He said Jagadish Shettar, who quit as assembly speaker on Monday, would be inducted into the cabinet on Tuesday.

The Bharatiya Janata Party's legislative wing would meet in Bangalore on Wednesday in which senior central leaders would take part. A 10-day legislative session has been convened from December 14.

Speaking to reporters after inaugurating the 32nd national junior volleyball tournament here, he said, "We are now concentrating on immediate relief works in north Karnataka. My government has decided to reconstruct all 330 identified villages with modern facilities."

He thanked donors, institutions and Government of India for providing help to the people affected by the floods. The government was able to collect Rs 1,500 crore as relief fund.

Yeddyurappa said providing education, health and housing in flood-hit areas were his government's top priority.

He said out of 23 sports schools in the state, 10 would get hostel facility from this year.
