Delhi court convicts Dawood's aide for murder

A Delhi court on Friday convicted Romesh Sharma, an alleged aide of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, and five others for the murder of fashion designer Kunjum Budhiraja.

The quantum of sentence against Sharma and others will be pronounced on February 18.

According to the prosecution, the designer, with whom Sharma had an affair, was stabbed to death on March 20, 1999, by a group of gangsters hired from Uttar Pradesh at the instance of Surinder Mishra, co-accused and nephew of Sharma.
