Maps and some survey sheets pertaining to the Adarsh Housing Society that went missing from the state land records department have been traced, a judicial panel probing the scam was on Tuesday informed.

Superintendent of Mumbai City Survey and Land Records Sanjay Dhikle told the two-member commission that the documents are available.

"The documents sought by the commission are available with the office of land records and nothing is missing," Dhikle submitted in an affidavit before the commission.

On June 25, he told the commission that historical maps of 1847 (the first time when Mumbai was mapped scientifically) and 1882 were 'not available' in his office.

The maps, according to lawyers, bear significance, as it can show whether the Adarsh plot existed at the time. Dhikle had also claimed that certain survey sheets from 1872-1960 pertaining to the disputed plot are missing.

Along with his affidavit, Dhilke also submitted all the documents on Tuesday.
