Five security force personnel were among six people injured in a grenade attack by militants in south Kashmir's Pulwama district on Wednesday. Militants hurled a grenade at a party of security force personnel at around 5.30 pm in Pohu area wounding six, the police said.
The injured included four Central Reserve Police Force personnel, a policeman and a civilian, they said. The militants escaped from the scene taking advantage of the panic caused by the blast.
No militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack so far. Pulwama is going to polls in the third phase of voting on December 9.
