Parikh puts off cabinet expansionGujarat Chief Minister Dilip Parikh on Friday said he could not induct parliamentary secretaries since most of the legislators had left for their constituencies in view of the political development at the Centre. He said he would now expand his council of ministers on or before Wednesday. Replying to a question, the chief minister said the Congress, which was supporting him, was most welcome to join his government. "It is up to their leadership to take a decision on this," he said. Parikh left for Delhi on Friday evening to attend the Gujarat Day at the India International Trade Fair. UNI |
