Dr Renu Khator, President and Chancellor of the University of Houston, was given the Publisher's Special Award for Excellence. The Youth Achiever 2007 Award was given to 24-year-old Somdev Dev Burman, the first Indian to win the US collegiate tennis title. The Community Service Award went to Dr Navin Shah, while Dr Joy Cherian received the Lifetime Award for Service to the Community.
