TN swearing-in ceremony ends, Vijay to make announcements

With the rendition of Vande Mataram (full version), Jana Gana Mana and Thamizh Thaai Vaazhthu (state anthem), the swearing-in of the new Tamil Nadu government has come to an end.

C Joseph Vijay, chief of the Tamillaga Vettri Kazhagam, and nine ministers were sworn in by Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on Sunday morning.

The event lasted 40 minutes.

After the swearing in, it was announced that the new chief minister will make some announcements.
