Crude Oil futures jump Rs 460 to Rs 7,881/barrel

Crude oil prices jumped Rs 460 to Rs 7,881 per barrel in futures trade on Wednesday as global benchmarks advanced due to intensifying geopolitical tensions. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), crude oil for March delivery climbed Rs 460, or 6.2 per cent, to Rs 7,881 per barrel in a business turnover of 16,930 lots. Similarly, the April contract also appreciated by Rs 462, or nearly 6.3 per cent, to Rs 7,815 per barrel in 7,833 lots. -- PTI
