Biden to speak on why he dropped re-election bid

US President Joe Biden has announced that he will address the nation from the Oval Office on Wednesday at 8 pm ET (Thursday, 5.30 am IST), on why he chose to drop out of the presidential race.

In a post on X, Biden said he would speak on what lies ahead, and "how I will finish the job for the American people."
