Delhi fire tragedy: Prez, PM express grief

President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed their grief over a massive fire in New Delhi that killed 26 people. 

"Distressed by the tragic fire accident at a building near Mundka Metro Station in Delhi. My condolences to the bereaved families. I wish for speedy recovery of the injured," the President tweeted.

"Extremely saddened by the loss of lives due to a tragic fire in Delhi. My thoughts are with the bereaved families. I wish the injured a speedy recovery," Modi wrote on Twitter.

 At least 26 people died in a fire that broke out at a building near west Delhi's Mundka metro station on Friday. 

Fire department officials said the number could go up as more were feared trapped, and rescue operation was underway.
