Poll strategist Prashant Kishor at a press conference held in Patna today, said he would undertake a padyatra of his home state, Bihar, and bring in a new dispensation.

He stopped short of announcing his own party, a move he had hinted at after his fallout with the Congress.

"In next three to four months, I will meet many eminent persons of Bihar who can help build the idea of 'Jan Suraaj' (good governance) and make them a part of it. I will embark on 3000 km padyatra across Bihar from October 2, from the Gandhi Ashram, in west Champaran," Kishor said.

Prashant Kishore added that there are no elections in Bihar in the near future, so a political party was not part of his plan for now. But he left questions on his future open.

"I want to start from zero- I will spend the next three-four years reaching out to people with the idea of Jan-Suraj (public good governance)," he said.

On the Congress party, he said, "Congress needs to decide how they want to function further, not me. They took whatever decision they deemed important and so did I. Congress doesn't need any Prashant Kishor, the party has even more capable people. They know what they have to do."
