EC to decide on extending poll rally ban today

The Election Commission of India will hold a meeting at 1 pm on Saturday.

The meeting is to decide if ban on rallies and gatherings in five poll-bound states till January 15 will be extended further or not.

Assembly elections in five states -- Goa, Manipur, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand -- will be held between February 10 and March 7. -- Agencies
