Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey clarifies on his 'aukat' remark yesterday. "Bihar ke mukhyamantri pe comment karne ki aukaat Rhea Chakraborty ki nahi hai," the Bihar DGP said when asked about the actor's comments on CM Nitish Kumar.

After furore on social media, Pandey tried to explain what he meant, "The meaning of 'Aukat' in English is stature. Rhea Chakraborty does not have the stature to comment on Bihar CM Nitish Kumar. She shouldn't forget that she is a named accused in FIR in the Sushant Singh Rajput case which was under me and now with CBI. If a political leader comments on the Bihar CM, then I am nobody to comment over it. But if an accused makes some baseless comment on Bihar CM then it is objectionable. She should fight the battle legally."

Hours after the Supreme Court ordered a CBI probe into the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey started trending on social media for the crass comment about the deceased actor's ex-girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.

The comments come days after Chakraborty approached the court with a plea to file an affidavit to end her media trial which started since Rajput's family and its lawyer named her as co-accused in the death of the 34-year-old.

A video of the DGP's response has been going viral on social media with many calling out the cop's sexist comment.
