Meira Kumar is Opposition's Prez candidate

It's Dalit vs Dalit for Prez poll.

Former Lok Sabha speaker Meira Kumar will be opposition's candidate for the upcoming Presidential polls.

Kumar will take on the NDA's presidential nominee Ram Nath Kovind on July 17.

Like Kovind, Meira Kumar belongs to the Scheduled Castes.

She is the daughter of Dalit stalwart and former deputy prime minister late Jagjivan Ram.
