Govt gets a 'F' in Cong's 'State of the economy' report

Ex-PM Manmohan Singh, former Finance Minister Chidambaram release 'state of economy' report ahead of the Union Budget. Chidambaram says the document released candidly, truthfully assesses the state of India's economy, supported by hard research, data.


"That the Indian economy is not in a good state is obvious. Even IMF has downgraded our GDP growth to below 7%.  Rating agencies have downgraded Indian economy," says Dr Singh, releasing the 'state of economy' report.


"Where are the jobs? Where is new capital investment? Where is credit growth?" P Chidambaram, asks.
