150 feared trapped in landslide in remote village in Pune
July 30, 2014 12:40Twenty-four hour rain in Maharashtra has left 150 people trapped in a village in Pune. Early reports, quoting the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), says a landslide caused by heavy rains has left 40 houses buried in debris.
Two teams of NDRF comprising 100 people are on their way. The District collector, medical teams and police have reached the spot. Connectivity is poor as it is a remote area.
