Delhi-ites throng venue of Hazare's fast

Good morning and welcome to another day of protest fast, this time by Anna Hazare who had gone on fast in April as well.

PTI reports that people have been gathering at Rajghat in New Delhi since the morning to take part in the day-long hunger strike called by Hazare to protest against the police crackdown on Baba Ramdev and his supporters during their agitation against corruption.

With the Delhi police refusing permission for the day-long hunger strike at Jantar Mantar, Hazare had decided to shift the venue to Rajghat to avoid a confrontation.
