Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh finally broke his silence on Wednesday.
Facing across-the-board criticism in recent weeks on the corruption bedeviling his government, instances of which have been popping up with alarming regularity, Dr Singh told television honchos that he was no lame-duck.
In an hour-long conversation with senior TV journalists at his residence, he dwelled upon a range of issues plaguing his government, like price rise, inflation, economic reforms, corruption and, more importantly, former telecom minister A Raja, who has become the face of the 2G scam.
Earlier in the day, Rediff.com's senior editor Saisuresh Sivaswamy appeared on the Rediff Chat to parse what the PM's media interaction means.
Next, Editorial Director (News) Sheela Bhatt will take up your queries on Rediff Chat from 5 pm on February 16, 2011.
