'India's future depends on how much we do for countryside'

Alleging that the United Progressive Alliance government had neglected the agricultural sector, Advani said: "It is a shame that in the last few years tens of thousands of farmers have committed suicide. We believe that not only economy in general, but the country's future depends very much on how much we are able to do for the countryside both in respect of infrastructure as well as employment."
