Bhubaneswar badly hit

The capital city of Bhubaneswar also bore the brunt of floods as several areas including Mancheswar, Brahmeshwarpatna, Chakeisiani, Kimbhiria, GGP Colony, Bhalia Peta and Uttara were submerged by the surging waters from Kuakhai and Daya.
A young man of GGP Colony area was feared drowned while crossing a canal on Sunday, sources said, adding that efforts were on to trace him.
There was a flood of complaints about absence of relief from many areas including the worst hit Cuttack and Kendrapara districts.
