India's space agency ready to launch moon mission

The Indian space agency is through with the major tests for the launch of 'Chandrayaan I', country's first unmanned mission to moon. The unmanned lunar mission by the Indian Space Research Organization, headquartered Bengaluru, is aimed at high-resolution remote sensing of the moon, near infrared, low energy X-rays and high-energy X-ray regions. The spacecraft is cuboid in shape and 1.5 meters in span.
